ME verses Employed

My husband started a plumbing °µÍø½ûÇø as an ME and that’s how he accessed healthcare system, his ME is still open but very small amounts being invoiced, he is now employed on an 8 month contract do we need to notify anyone of any changes re how he is accessing heath care, or when his contact ends. Am I able to heath care cover through his employment?
